The Most Expensive Club in the World: The World’s Most Expense-Maids Club 17

The Club 17, located in the French resort town of Versailles, has been a fixture in the clubbing and entertainment landscape for more than 50 years.
It is the oldest club in the world and has been recognized by Forbes magazine as one of the world’s best clubs for over a decade, with a record attendance of 1.2 million on its annual events.
The Club 17 has hosted celebrities, musicians and athletes from across the globe, including Michael Jackson, Tom Cruise, Bruce Springsteen, John Legend, Nick Cave, Lady Gaga and Kanye West.
It has also held regular international concerts in a bid to showcase the rich musical traditions of the club and its alumni.
The club has hosted over 100,000 visitors, and boasts more than 500,000 square feet of nightclub space and more than 5,000 rooms in a sprawling, 11-story tower, according to the Club 17’s website.
Its members, including celebrities, athletes and entertainers from around the world, are allowed to attend a number of events in the Club, including private parties, music, art and theater performances, and private events.
As of 2017, the Club has more than 6,300 members and memberships are $50 per year, according the Club’s website, and the club is open to all members.
Among the perks of membership are access to a club lounges and a 24-hour club hotline, which is also open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and offers members exclusive access to the club’s members-only lounge and a live video feed.
Members also get access to exclusive member-only VIP events such as the Club Grand Prix, which offers exclusive VIP access to events and concerts in the Hotel Versaillese and the Club.
The Grand Prix features exclusive food and drinks from a variety of local restaurants, while other events, including the Club Championship, are held at the Club and include a VIP cocktail reception, the club-themed Club Party, and a monthly VIP concert, according Club 17.
According to the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the Club is the world leader in hospitality and offers an unparalleled combination of socializing, leisure and entertainment.
